In addition to initiating and receiving calls, HandsFreeLink® offers these additional features. The availability of these features is dependent on the Acura model and trim level, phone model and wireless service package.

Ability of HFL to sound the call-waiting tone, place the first call on hold and answer the second call by pressing and releasing the PHONE button.

Ability to transfer your contacts individually directly from your phone to HFL. The phone must support the Bluetooth® OPP Profile for this feature.

Ability to transfer and store up to 1,000 names and
10,000 phone numbers in the phonebook located in your Navigation system
from your cellular phonebook. The phone must support the BlueTooth Sync or
PBAP Profile for this feature.

Manual Digital Tones: Ability to send tones such as pound or star through the HFL.

Ability to connect and transmit data to the Acura Server for the purpose of AcuraLink™ communication. AcuraLink™ Diagnostic Info provides a deeper analysis of what caused the malfunction in any one of the many systems in your vehicle.

This can sometimes prevent the need for an unnecessary visit to your dealer. The system can notify you via AcuraLink™ when you have service needs that are indicated by the remote diagnosis system. You must have a compatible phone with an active Data Plan.
